Tropiquaria

The main Tropiquaria building is situated in 5.5 acres of grounds which contain two main play areas and a number of outdoor animal enclosures. As well as a number of outdoor aviaries we also have animals such as Tapir, Rheas, Wallabies, Meerkats, four species of Lemur, Gibbons, Tamarins, Emus, Squirrels, Scottish Wildcats and a Serval

Tropiquaria has an assortment of play facilities, both inside and outside, that permit younger folk to play, often in line of sight of their parents. Our facilities include two full size replica pirate ships, a play fort and an outside play area including a zip wire. In the indoor café we have a fort and a small ball park that is made with the under fives in mind. At the height of the season our outdoor pirate café and shop is available too for those who only wish a drink, ice-cream or light snack.
