Brean Down

Brean Down is  is a breath taking penninsular at the end of our very own beach. It's about 2 miles from Sunningcrest and offers some spectacular views looking out over the Bristol Channel towards south Wales and over the Somerset Levels.

Venture to the top and discover the site of a Roman temple and explore the Palmerston Fort at the end of the Down or simply enjoy the exhilarating 1.5 mile walk along Somerset’s greatest natural pier. The Down stands 97m high and the steps to the top are quite demanding, but it's worth it !
