Coleridge Cottage

Coleridge Cottage is owned by the National Trust.

It was home to the poet Coleridge and his family for the period 1797 till 1800. It was here that he wrote his most famous poems, perhaps the most well-known being The Rhyme of The Ancient Mariner.

The cottage is open to the public from April till the end of September, on Thursdays Fridays Saturdays and Sundays and Bank Holidays.
